School Bus Flips on I-70, Three Hospitalized: Police

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Four people were on a private school bus that overturned on Interstate 70 at Marriottsville Road Monday afternoon, according to Maryland State Police.

Three individuals were taken to the hospital, police reported before 4:45 p.m.

According to police, the driver of the bus was not injured.

There were no lane closures at 4:45 p.m. but police said they may be necessary when the bus is being turned upright.

The collision happened at approximately 3:30 p.m., according to WJZ, which reported the bus was in the median.

The State Highway Administration said the crash happened on I-70 east before Marriottsville Road, and drivers should expect delays.
