SECU Opens New Financial Center in Ellicott City
SECU, Maryland's largest credit union, has opened its state-of-the-art Financial Center at 10025 Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City.
SECU – Maryland’s largest credit union – has opened its newest, state-of-the-art Financial Center at 10025 Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City, Maryland.
The new SECU Financial Center in Ellicott City has a number of features designed to make banking more convenient for SECU members, including a 24-hour drive up ATM service, extended weekday and Saturday hours, and interactive teller technology. SECU members will also find new processes in place to make their transactions faster and easier than ever before.
“Featuring the latest in banking technology and expanded service hours, including Saturdays, the new SECU Ellicott City Financial Center enables us to better serve our many existing SECU members living and working in Howard County, as well as those wishing to join SECU to take advantage of everything we have to offer,” says Christopher Groshko, Assistant Vice President of Retail Banking Sales & Service Delivery for SECU.

Like other SECU Financial Centers in Maryland, Ellicott City features interactive teller machines (ITMs), which combine the speed and efficiency of a regular ATM with the added convenience of a live teller who can deliver personal, face-to-face assistance for each transaction.
“With ITMs, SECU can now offer longer hours in a more secure environment because the tellers aren’t personally on-site or handling cash,” Groshko explains. “They also provide greater privacy and increased efficiency. ITMs represent the latest ways we ensure that our members continue to receive the same friendly and responsive service and solutions they always have.”

SECU’s Ellicott City Financial Center hours have been established to ensure the needs of its members are met:
Lobby Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am — 4:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am — 6:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am — 1:00 pm
Teller Drive Up Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am — 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am — 2:00 pm
