Speedy Tire Thieves Target Ellicott City, HCPD Seeks Information
The Howard County Police Department asks the public to help identify two men captured on camera stealing tires and rims from a parked car.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — In a matter of minutes, two men were captured on camera jacking up a car in a full parking lot not far from a light pole and yanking off all four tires and rims. This has become a pattern across Howard County and the HCPD hopes the public can help identify these thieves and stop the rash of thefts.
The incident captured on camera occurred June 22, but the county police department continues to receive reports of rim and tire thefts across the county. Anyone with information about these two individuals or related incidents are asked to contact 410-313-STOP or HCPDCrimeTips@howardcountymd.gov.
