Suspects In Sprint Store Armed Robbery Arrested: Police
Howard Co. officers also apprehended five juveniles in a separate incident and arrested them for burglary of a vacant home in Ellicott City
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Officers have arrested eight individuals, five of whom are teens, in two separate robbery and burglary incidents. On Jan. 4, two men with their faces partially covered entered the Sprint Store located in the 11000 block of Resort Road in Ellicott City. The men pulled out handguns and proceeded to steal various items from the store, along with two employees' wallets and personal cell phones before fleeing.
During the course of their investigation, the Howard County Police Department identified the two male suspects and a female suspect. Officers arrested Gary Leon Holloway, 42, of Country Terrace Road in Essex; Garry Kewan Holloway, 26, of Hillenwood Road in Baltimore; and Takeera Mone Montgomery, 24, of North Edgewood Street in Baltimore. They have been charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault and theft.
On Feb. 3 at 10:50 p.m., Howard County officers responded to several reports of suspects in a vacant residence without permission. The property is located in the 10200 block of Cabery Road in Ellicott City. Police located the suspects and arrested five juvenile males ages 14 to 17 years old and charged them with burglary.
