Three Teens Charged in Glenelg Home Burglary: Police

Police said three teens may be connected to 10 home burglaries in Howard County.

Three men charged in a burglary Monday may be connected to as many as 10 similar crimes, according to the Howard County Police Department.

Officers in the Glenelg area saw three suspicious people with backpacks leaving a residence on Sharp Road Monday and upon Investigation, found the home had been burglarized, police said.

When the officers stopped the trio and found items taken from the burglary, including two guns, police said they took these suspects into custody:

  • German Jossue Perez-Espinoza, 18, of the 8200 block of Glen Court in Jessup
  • Malik Ka’onte Holloman, 19, of the 8300 block of Stickley Court in Jessup
  • Aleister Terrill, 19, of the 10500 block of Vista Road in Columbia

Court records show each has been charged with first, third and four-degree burglary; theft up to $10,000; malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000; possession of a firearm by a person under 21; and possession of a stolen firearm.

Detectives who had been investigating a series of burglaries in December identified Perez-Espinoza and Holloman as possible suspects, police said; and when executing search warrants at their homes, authorities said they found property from the other cases.

Now the three teens are being investigated as possibly connected to as many as 10 other burglaries, and detectives anticipate filing additional charges, police said.

Each teen is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on $500,000 bond, police said Tuesday.
