Unheard Perspectives Showcase Will Be Feb. 29 At Hammond School
The showcase will feature students in third through fifth grades who volunteered to learn more about innovators in American history.
COLUMBIA, MD — The community is invited to attend the annual Unheard Perspectives Showcase Feb. 29 at 9 a.m. at Hammond Middle School. The event is hosted by the Howard County Public School System's elementary social students office, Black Student Achievement Program and the gifted and talented office.
The showcase will feature students in third through fifth grades who volunteered to learn more about innovators in American history whose perspectives were often underrepresented. Students will showcase their knowledge and findings through a visual presentation, display or performance. In addition, there will be interactive exhibits about the history of innovators from community and national organizations.
