Comprised of seven members, the board’s responsibilities include reviewing newly discovered cemeteries for county adoption, providing advisory comments on subdivision and site development plans that are on or adjacent to a cemetery on the county’s cemetery inventory, advising on historical cemetery resources and other duties outlined by the Howard County code.
