Weather Decision From Howard County Public Schools For Jan. 18
Schools will operate on a modified schedule on Friday, Jan. 18, in Howard County.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in the Howard County Public School System are opening two hours late on Friday, Jan. 18. The central office is opening on time.
All morning child care programs, sponsored by the Columbia Association and the Department of Recreation & Parks in HCPSS schools, will be delayed two hours.
Buses will run on a two-hour delayed schedule.

Morning sessions of half-day pre-K and RECC are canceled, officials said.
Between 0.4 and 1.5 inches of snow fell in parts of Howard County since Thursday night, according to preliminary data from the National Weather Service, which issued a hazardous weather outlook Friday morning for slippery roads.
