Weekend Weather Decision from Howard County Public Schools
BREAKING: Saturday's school and community-sponsored activities in Howard County Public School System will be impacted by wintry mix.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — All school and community activities are canceled for Saturday, Jan. 14, at Howard County public schools, officials announced.
Activities for Friday, Jan. 13, are continuing as usual, according to the Howard County Public School System.
A decision about Sunday's activities will be announced by 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15.

A wintry mix is in the weekend forecast. Snow, freezing rain and sleet are expected both Saturday and Sunday, with less than an inch of snow and 0.1 inch ice anticipated to accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.
