• Arrest made in Essex double homicide, Baltimore County Police say (wmar2news.com) — Baltimore County Police have arrested a suspect in a double homicide that left two 19-year-olds dead in a vehicle on Banyan Wood Court in Essex. Neighbors described the area as usually quiet, and investigators say the victims' car crashed into a parked vehicle before they were found; the suspect's identity will be released after a court appearance.
   

• Body of Essex man recovered following wake incident at Miami Beach Park in Middle River (wmar2news.com) — An Essex resident, 57-year-old Todd Andrew Foehrkolb, died after falling overboard when his boat hit a wake near Miami Beach Park in Middle River, and his body was recovered Monday morning near Seneca Creek. Baltimore County police, fire crews, and Maryland Natural Resources Police assisted in the search, and an autopsy is planned as the investigation continues.
