Body Of Missing Essex Boater Recovered In Middle River: Report

Authorities said one person was rescued from the Miami Beach Park as the search continue for a second boater.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — The body of a boater who went missing over the weekend was recovered Monday morning, according to a report.

Citing a spokesperson with the Maryland Natural Resources Police, WMAR2 reported that the boater was identified as Todd Andrew Foehrkolb, a 57-year-old Essex man.

First responders had found Foehrkolb's remains around 7:40 a.m. Monday.

A search for Foehrkolb came underway late Saturday after a wake incident saw him fall into Seneca Creek near the Miami Beach Park in Middle River.

The Baltimore County Fire Department earlier said one person was rescued by first responders.

An investigation by the MNRP remains underway as an autopsy is conducted in Baltimore.
