Damn Yankees tells the tale of middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd, who sells his soul to the devil (under the guise of the fast-talking Mr. Applegate) for a chance to lead his beloved Washington Senators to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. Leaving his loving wife Meg behind, Joe Boyd is transformed into a young phenom known as Joe Hardy. With the help of “Shoeless Joe” Hardy, the Senators are finally a winning team – but Joe quickly discovers the worth of the life (and wife) he left behind. With a colorful cast of characters and plot twists galore, Damn Yankees is a toe-tapping, laugh-out-loud musical that the whole family will love!
