School was evacuated and dismissed early, Baltimore County Public Schools reported, out of abundance of caution.

Kenwood High School was given the all-clear from local authorities Friday afternoon following an hours-long investigation into a suspicious email and device, neither of which turned out to be a credible threat, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., school officials notified authorities that several staff members had received a threatening email, police reported.

Eastern Avenue in the area of Stemmers Run Road was closed during the investigation, according to ABC 2 News.
“A day-long investigation at the school has determined that the threatening email is spam that landed last night in the mailboxes of several Kenwood staff people,” police reported.
After investigating the school and the grounds, authorities reported Friday afternoon: “Police have concluded that there is no threat to Kenwood High.”
