• Governor Moore Announces Historic Funding to Fight Child Poverty Through the ENOUGH Initiative (maryland.gov) — Essex families stand to benefit as Community Assistance Network in Essex, Baltimore County, is named among Maryland's ENOUGH Initiative grantees in a new $32 million anti-poverty funding round. Governor Wes Moore says the program is channeling record state and philanthropic dollars into high-poverty neighborhoods for food access, health care, and economic mobility, with Essex included alongside 29 other communities statewide.
