Shooting In Essex Sends One To Hospital: Police

BREAKING NEWS: Police said one person was found shot in a parking lot in Essex Monday afternoon.

ESSEX, MD — A man is in the hospital after a shooting in Essex Monday afternoon. Authorities say the suspect is at large, and the investigation is ongoing.

At 1:22 p.m., multiple 911 calls led police to respond to the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive. There, authorities reported they found a man in the parking lot who had been shot.

The victim was taken from the parking lot of the housing complex to an area hospital, where police said his condition was not known.
