Victim IDed In Fatal Essex Crash

Police announced the identity of the man who died while crossing Eastern Boulevard.

ESSEX, MD — The pedestrian killed in Essex Tuesday night has been identified, police reported on Wednesday. The man was crossing Eastern Boulevard when a truck exiting Route 702 crashed into him, according to Baltimore County police.

Thomas Marshall Ross II, 49, of the 300 block of Folcroft Street, was hit by a truck around 5:23 p.m., police reported.

He was taken to Franklin Square Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said the driver of the Ford F-150 remained at the scene.
