Fallston House Fire Caused $500,000 in Damage, Officials Report
The blaze drew more than 70 firefighters to Beechwood Lane Sunday afternoon, the fire marshal said.
Approximately 75 firefighters responded to a house fire in Fallston Sunday that caused $500,000 in damage, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
A passerby reported the fire in the 2900 block of Beechwood Lane at 12:58 p.m. on Sunday, the fire marshal reported.
It took firefighters approximately one hour to bring the blaze under control at the single-story ranch-style home, according to the report.

There was a smoke alarm in the home but it was not immediately known whether it went off, the fire marshal said. There were no injuries as a result of the incident, the fire marshal reported.
