• Harford County family fights SHA over roadside memorial (wbaltv.com) — A Fallston family is clashing with the Maryland State Highway Administration after a roadside memorial for 20-year-old Gavin Hopkins was removed from Route 152, despite earlier assurances it could remain on state property. Neighbors' complaints, safety rules, and state law against non-highway signs now threaten even a revised memorial, and the family is pushing for a legal change to allow such tributes.
