POLLY: Dog of the Week at the Humane Society of Harford County

Meet Polly, an 8-month-old Retriever mix who's ready to bound into your life. Things will never be the same, we promise!

Princess Polly Pocket is ready for her forever home. Polly had a rough start at life. She was found as a stray and was believed to be hit by a car leaving her with a severe injury. She had surgery to help with the
injury and is now doing great!

Polly is almost 8 months old and a complete sweetheart. She is a Labrador retriever mix. She gets along great with everything...adults, children, dogs, and cats! Polly is crate trained and must be in a crate when left unsupervised (she's a typical Lab puppy and likes to chew on things she shouldn't). She is basically completely housebroken with only an occasional accident here or there. She loves to go on walks and walks great on a leash. Polly is quite a princess, so she can be needy for attention. A household that has other dogs or an active family would suit Polly best. Polly is a great well-rounded dog and would make an amazing addition to any family.

If interested in meeting Polly, please fill out an application at the shelter. If your application is approved, you will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet. You can also contact Polly's foster mom at jseidl@harfordshelter.org with any questions.
