• Overnight lane closures expected as Anne Arundel County bridge work begins (wmar2news.com) — If you drive near Fort Meade, expect occasional overnight lane closures on MD 32 as state crews clean and repaint the Pepper Road bridge and six others across Anne Arundel County through December. Work will generally run 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., include reduced clearances and automated speed enforcement, and could briefly slow traffic for local commuters and truckers. 
• US Army INSCOM Conducts Change of Command Ceremony (soldiersystems.net) — Fort Meade gets a brief spotlight as the new INSCOM commander previously led the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command based on post for three years, shaping key intelligence operations. The ceremony at Fort Belvoir marked a leadership handoff overseeing 18,000 personnel worldwide, with both generals emphasizing support to soldiers on the front lines and rapidly evolving intelligence technology.
