• Frederick County Health Department Warns of Possible Rabies Exposure After Bat Found at Riverwalk Park (wfmd.com) — Health officials are warning anyone who may have touched a bat at Frederick’s Riverwalk Park that recent rabies testing was inconclusive and any contact should be treated as a possible exposure. The Frederick County Health Department urges people to call a healthcare provider, and reminds residents to report contact with wild or stray animals to Animal Control at 301-600-1544.
   

• Frederick residents raise concerns over teen harassment, assaults (wjla.com) — Residents and business owners in downtown Frederick say groups of teens are harassing people, assaulting at least one man, and may be linked to vehicle break-ins, though police say those specific claims haven’t been formally reported. Frederick Police acknowledge a rise in thefts from vehicles and are urging anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment, assaults, or other crimes to contact the department so they can investigate patterns.
   

• Frederick Man Identified By Police In Fatal MoCo Crash (patch.com) — A 67-year-old Frederick man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Ridge Road in Damascus, according to Montgomery County Police. He was a passenger in a Chrysler Pacifica and died at the scene, while investigators say impairment is not suspected. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit.
