Beginning in fall 2027, FSU will also extend in-state tuition rates to students from nearby states, strengthening Frostburg's role as an affordable higher-education hub for Appalachian communities.

The long-running rivalry has been remarkably even, with just eight total points separating both teams over 18 meetings, making this matchup especially compelling for local fans planning to attend.
   

• CASE NO. C-01-CV-26-000363 IN... (times-news.com) — A Frostburg-based company, Brode Investments LLC, has filed a Circuit Court case to foreclose redemption rights on a tax-sale property in Cumberland. Anyone with an interest in the 100-by-133-foot lot must respond by Nov. 23, 2026, or risk losing redemption rights as the court considers granting clear title to the plaintiff.
