CRESA WASHINGTON DC MANAGING PRINCIPAL MINDY SAFFER NAMED TO ASAE’S 2013-2014 FINANCE & BUSINESS OPERATIONS SECTION COUNCIL

May 8, 2013 (Washington, D.C.) – Cresa Washington DC, a corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of fully integrated services, announces today that one of its managing principals, Mindy Saffer, LEED AP, has been appointed to ASAE’s 2013-2014 Finance & Business Operations Section Council.
ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership, based in Washington, D.C., represents more than 21,000 association executives and industry partners representing 10,000 organizations. Its members manage leading trade associations, individual membership societies and volunteer organizations across the United States and in nearly 50 countries around the world.
ASAE’s Finance & Business Operations Section Council supports ASAE by, among other things, identifying pertinent areas of content related to finance, business operations and human resources management issues. This content is used for ASAE’s eNewsletters and other specialized publications.
Other work performed by the council includes online peer networking through Collaborate, ASAE’s online community and membership directory; specialized professional development; and two section discussion groups in Collaborate – one focused on finance, and one focused on human resources.
“I’m excited and honored to join the ASAE Finance & Business Operations Section Council for 2013-2014,” says Saffer, who since 1999 has completed millions of square feet in commercial real estate transactions, primarily for non-profit organizations and trade associations. “This appointment will allow me to further understand the issues and trends that affect my clients’ overall business concerns.”
Saffer, a Gaithersburg resident who joined Cresa Washington DC last year, is extremely involved in the Washington-area community. For example, she is on the boards of the Finance and Administration Roundtable, the Greater Washington Commercial Association of REALTORS®, and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
Additionally, Saffer is a member of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, the Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club, and the Alumni Associations for Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland.
