GAITHERSBURG, MD — Remembering to stock every ingredient for your Christmas dinner isn't easy. Whether it's brown sugar to glaze the ham, or wine to toast the holiday, there's always something that doesn't make it into the shopping cart. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

Should you need to make a last-minute grocery run, don't panic. Several grocery stores in Gaithersburg will be open — at least for a little while — on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store. Here's a list of stores that will be open and closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.

  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

  • The store located at 46 Bureau Dr will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • The store located at 20044 Goshen Rd will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The store located at 842 Muddy Branch Rd will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will open at 6 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
