Crime Summary: Peeping Tom, Sex Assault and Several Burglaries

P1 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery and sexual assault occurred in the parking lot of the Rio, 9715 Washingtonian Boulevard in Gaithersburg, on Saturday 12/3 between 6:45 and 7:45 pm.  The suspect is known to the victim.

• A commercial burglary occurred at Negola’s Ark Vet Hospital, 9401 Fields Road in Gaithersburg, between Tuesday 11/29 at 8 pm and Wednesday 11/30 at 6 am.  Forced entry; nothing taken.

• Five thefts from vehicles occurred on Upshire Circle, Midsummer Court and Canfield Hill Drive area of Gaithersburg between Thursday 12/1 and Friday 12/2.  No force was necessary to enter any vehicle.  Cash, a GPS, and other loose items were taken.   

P2 Beat:

• No significant events.

R1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 300 block of Fellowship Circle in North Potomac between Friday 12/2 and Monday 12/5.  No forced entry; property taken.

R2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the area of Clubhouse Road and Watkins Mill Road in Montgomery Village on Friday 12/2 just before midnight.  No further information is available.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 10300 block of Watkins Mill Drive in Gaithersburg between Wednesday 11/30 at 10 pm and Thursday 12/1 at 7:50 am.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

S1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred at the Irock Karaoke Bar, 15964 Shady Grove Road in Gaithersburg, on Monday 12/5 around 11:35 pm.  Three victims were assaulted to the suspect, who is known to them.

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Steven Court in Gaithersburg on Monday 12/5 between 6 am and 6:30 pm.  Forced entry; property taken.
  

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Maryland Avenue in Gaithersburg.  The victim notified police on Sunday 12/4 just before 10 am.  No further information is available.

• A peeping tom incident occurred in the 100 block of Park Avenue in Gaithersburg on Sunday 12/4 around 11:25 pm.  The resident saw the suspect (B/M with an afro) peeping through the blinds. 

S2 Beat:

• An attempted commercial burglary occurred on Monday 12/5 at the Uhaul Storage lot at 7831 Beechcraft Avenue in Gaithersburg.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 20000 block of Mattingly Terrace in Montgomery Village on Tuesday 11/29 between 7:50 am and 3 pm.  Forced entry; property taken.
