About Montgomery County Animal Services & Adoption Center: FREE PET ADOPTIONS
From June 25th-July 3rd, Montgomery County Animal Services & Adoption Center will be offering fee-waived adoptions on all dogs and cats! All dog and cat adoptions will be free, except for the cost of licensing for those who live within the county.
What you need to know:
- Please leave your pets at home. If you'd like to schedule a meet-and-greet between your pet and the one you wish to adopt, an adoption counselor can assist you in setting that up.
- Bring a leash, collar, carrier, or anything you will need in order to transport your pet home. Same day adoptions may be possible in some circumstances.
- All adopters must be at least 18 years or older, provide a photo id, and if renters, provide proof that you may have pets in your dwelling.
- We DO adopt to those who live out of county, and even out of state. All we ask is that you are able to comply with the requirements listed above.
