Free Recycling Event This Weekend!

Make sure to mark your calendar for our free recycling event in celebration of America Recycles Day. Join us for a fun day of free activities, treats and information. Door Prizes awarded throughout the day!

Bring your unwanted items to Habitat for Humanity ReStore Gaithersburg on Saturday, November 14 from 9 am – 5 pm. We are located at 9100 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.

We will be collecting along with our partner Eco-City Junk: Metal, Electronics, Furniture (in re-sellable condition) Household Goods (also re-sellable) and much more! Holiday decorations are especially needed right now.

Mom’s Organic Market will be providing snacks, and the Department of Environmental Protection will be providing free compost bins for county residents, kids activities and more!

Watch a free demonstration by Celeste Blumenauer of Catfish Studios on chalk painting furniture, or register for a free class with Angela Scollar of Decorating Den who will be showing all of us “10 Common Decorating Mistakes and How to Avoid Them”.
