Gaithersburg Woman Killed, Driver Injured in Crash: Police
Speed may have been a factor in Sunday's fatal crash, say Montgomery County Police.

POTOMAC, MD — A Gaithersburg woman died Sunday in a one-car crash in Potomac when the vehicle she was riding in slammed into a concrete wall.
Montgomery County Police say the fatal crash happened about 3 p.m. near 12860 Travilah Road.
Investigators say a 2010 Dodge Viper was westbound on Travilah Road when it left the road and struck a concrete wall. Detectives are investigating speed as a possible factor in the collision.

The driver, identified as Brandon Bussard, 21, of Chevy Chase Street in Gaithersburg, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The front-seat passenger, identified as Christina Koutsoukos, 18, of Antioch Road in Gaithersburg, was flown by helicopter to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries.
