Weis, Giant, Safeway: Thanksgiving Grocery Hours In Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, MD — We've all been there. It's Thanksgiving morning. You've started preparing the perfect feast before the guests arrive. And then it hits you: a key ingredient never made it into the shopping cart. For some people, it'll be cranberry sauce. For others, it'll be bread rolls. For me, it's always the gravy.

Don't panic. Plenty of grocery stores in Gaithersburg will be open — at least for a little while — on "Turkey Day." Here's a list of stores that will be open and closed on Thursday, Nov. 22. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store.

What's Open On Thanksgiving:

• Harris Teeter: The store will be closed at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22, and will reopen on Friday, Nov. 23, at 8 a.m.
• Whole Foods: The store will open at 7 a.m. and closed at 4 p.m.
• Giant Food: Stores will be open at 6 a.m. and closed at 5 p.m.
• Target: The store will be open at 5 p.m. and closed at 1 a.m.
• Safeway: Stores will be open at 5 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m.
• Weis Markets: Stores will be open at 7 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m.
• Megamart: The store will be open at 8 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m.
