Have You Seen Missing Gaithersburg Man?

Montgomery County Police say Steven Luedtke was last seen Monday when he was dropped off at the Shady Grove Metro Station in Rockville.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public for help finding a 38-year-old man missing from Gaithersburg who was last seen at a Metro station.

Steven Luedtke was last seen about 11 a.m. Monday when he was dropped off at the Shady Grove Metro Station in Rockville. When Luedtke did not arrive home in Gaithersburg as expected, police were notified.

Luedtke is described as a white man, 6′ 1″ tall, and weighing about 230 pounds. He has blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve thermal shirt, tan khaki pants and eye glasses with dark-colored frames.

He is known to frequent the Greene Turtle Pub and Seibel’s Restaurant in Burtonsville, Giuseppe’s Restaurant in Rockville and metro train stations. He has no access to a vehicle and regularly uses public transportation.

Police and family are concerned for his mental and physical welfare. Anyone with information regarding Luedtke's whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
