On Saturday September 30 international artist Vian Borchert will be showing some of her latest abstract paintings in a group art exhibition titled "Abstract Horizons" at "Aureo Rome" Gallery. The opening is on Sat. Sept. 30 from 11:30AM - 7:30PM. The Exhibition will be on view for a long period of time.

On a local note, artist and art educator Vian Borchert will have one of her "Woods" landscape at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn Gallery in the charming Kentlands neighbourhood in Gaithersburg, MD. The "Woods" landscape will be in the "15" group Art Exhibition which is part of the 15th anniversary celebration of the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. The festive reception and event is on Friday Sept. 15 from 6 - 7:30 PM along with Live music and refreshments. The exhibition will be on view for a couple of months.
