The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m., near the intersection of Watkins Mill Road and Cove Ledge Court. The teenager was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. Citing Montgomery County Police, <a href="https://wjla.com/news/local/gaithersburg-montgomery-county-pedestrian-teen-injured-hut-by-car-struck-collision-watkins-mill-road-cove-ledge-court-school-police-crash-maryland-hospital-injuries-traffic" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">WJLA reported</a> that the driver had remained at the scene. No further details were provided on the incident.
