Man Dies from Injuries After He Was Struck By Car
The Hyattsville man was struck Sunday night while crossing a Rockville street. Montgomery County Police say the driver is a Germantown man.

A Hyattsville man struck by a car while crossing the street Sunday night in Rockville has died from his injuries, according to Montgomery County Police.
The pedestrian, identified as Roberto Flores, 21, of the 6900 block of 24th Avenue in Hyattsville, died Monday morning at Shady Grove Hospital.
The accident happened about 11:38 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of First Street and Maple Avenue. Preliminary investigation shows Flores was crossing First Street at the intersection of Maple Avenue when he was struck by a Toyota Tacoma traveling westbound on First Street.

The driver of the Toyota, Robert Martin, 36, of the 11500 block of Fenchurch Court in Germantown, remained at the scene, police said. He was not injured.
