Missing Gaithersburg Man Found Dead in Bowie

A missing Gaithersburg man with dementia was found dead in Bowie on Sunday morning, police say.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — A missing Gaithersburg man with dementia was found dead in Bowie on Sunday morning, police say. The Prince George’s County Police Department is conducting the death investigation.

Frank Tuozzo, 64, of the 700 block of Clopper Road, was last known to be at an appointment in the 600 block of E Diamond Avenue about noon on Thursday, Jan. 12. He was reported missing on Friday, Montgomery County Police say. Tuozzo had dementia and other medical conditions.

Tuozzo does not drive. He frequents old town Gaithersburg and fast food restaurants.

Authorities have not said where in Bowie Tuozzo was found.
