MoCo Freebies, Deals For Service Members On Veterans Day (ICYMI)

GAITHERSBURG, MD — This year's Veterans Day is on Sunday, Nov. 11, and marks 100 years since the unofficial end of World War I. To celebrate our veterans past and present, a number of Montgomery County businesses are offering free or discounted services to military members.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill — Gaithersburg

Service members who wear their uniform or bring a valid form of military ID can get score a free a free a meal. The restaurant is located at 390 Spectrum Ave.

Touchless Car Wash — Multiple locations
Under the Grace For Vets Program, a laundry list of businesses across the country, like Touchless Car Wash, is giving free car washes for service members. On Monday, members of the military can get a free basic car wash at 16185 Shady Grove Rd or 104 N Frederick Ave. Present a valid military ID to the cashier. Clarksburg Premium Outlets — Clarksburg

Got any shopping plans? Military members score special discounts at a variety of stores, including Adidas, Banana Republic Factory Store, and more. Present a valid military ID to get in on the savings. In addition, Clarksburg Premium Outlets is offering 10 premium reserved parking spots to members and their families.

Sky Zone — Gaithersburg
Trying to stay active this weekend? If so, check out Sky Zone at 15813 Gaither Dr. Active military members and veterans will get a free 60-minute ticket on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Immediate family members can also get in on the fun: they'll receive 50% off a 60-minute jump ticket. Service members must show proper ID.

Bar Louie — Multiple locations
There are five Bar Louie locations in Maryland. Two of them are in Montgomery County. To say thanks, the restaurant is offering members a free burger or flatbread up to a $15 value.

Montgomery Parks Ice Rinks — Multiple locations
On Sunday, military members and their families skate for free at Cabin John Ice Rink and Wheaton Ice Arena.

Sport Clips — Multiple locations
Participating Sport Clips stores are offering free haircuts to members of the military. Present a valid military ID to an employee for savings.
