Damaged Natural Gas Line Shuts Down Gaithersburg Road: MCFRS
Some lanes were blocked off in Gaithersburg after construction crews damaged a natural gas line.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — Several lanes were blocked and a road was closed in Gaithersburg after construction crews working in the area struck a six-inch, natural gas line Wednesday morning.
The leak occurred in the area of Snouffer School Road and Flower Hill Way, according to Pete Piringer, spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.
Piringer says Snouffer School Road, between Centerway Road and Bonanza Way, were closed in both directions.
