Furniture Store Takes Over MoCo's Former Joann Fabrics Store
The Prime Furniture and Mattress Gallery will be taking over the space that previously housed Gaithersburg's Joanne Fabrics & Crafts.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — A new tenant is coming to the Diamond Square shopping center in Gaithersburg, and it's taking over the storefront that previously housed Joann Fabrics & Crafts.
Signage posted at the shopping center shows the space at 2A Bureau Drive will now operate as Prime Furniture & Mattress Gallery.
Officials have not released an opening date or possible operating hours for the shop.

The Gaithersburg Joann Fabrics & Crafts location was one of 14 stores in Maryland that were added to a nationwide chopping block last year after filing for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring process.
