Woman Struck And Killed By Car In Gaithersburg Identified
Police have identified the woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Gaithersburg.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County officials have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car Tuesday morning as Li Zhang, 52. Zhang — a North Potomac resident — was hit by a 2011 Nissan Rogue while crossing South Summit Avenue at Wells Avenue in Gaithersburg, police said. Zhang died from her injuries at the scene.
Officials identified the driver as 29-year-old Abidemi Etabuno D. Udah of Gaithersburg. Police said Udah left the scene of the accident, but returned a short time later. She was not injured during the collision.
An investigation is under way. Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.
