A-RTS Festival to Come to Rockville Town Square
The weekend event will feature artists, musicians, and artisanal food vendors.

The third annual A-RTS festival will transform the streets of Rockville Town Square into an outdoor art gallery May 2 and 3. The weekend art festival will showcase 160 local, regional and national artists, and their original pieces, according to a news release.
Participating artists are hand-selected by a jury of fine-art experts. Their selections will bring together the best in ceramics, clothing, glass, jewelry, metalwork, paintings, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood and mixed media.
There will be live musical entertainment on the Rockville Town Square stage throughout the weekend event and, for the first time, guests can shop artisanal foods to take home and enjoy after the event. Wytold, recent Strathmore Artist in Residence and recipient of several grants from theMaryland State Arts Council and DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, will perform on May 2.

Streets are closed to traffic for the event. At Rockville Town Square Plaza, 200 E Middle Lane, the festival is within easy walking distance of the Rockville Metro station, and numerous garages are conveniently located around the property.
The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
