5-Year-Old Hit By Car While Trying To Cross MoCo Roadway: MCFRS
Authorities said the pedestrian crash occurred near Glenmont Circle and remains under investigation.

GLENMONT, MD — A five-year-old child was hospitalized Thursday after being hit by a car in the Glenmont area, authorities said.
Pete Piringer, of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said in an X post that the pedestrian crash occurred on the 2200 block of Randolph Road, near Glenmont Circle.
First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 6 p.m.

Piringer said the child had been trying to cross the street, and that they were taken to the hospital for further evaluation. The child was described as having suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
