Taste of Downtown Crown raises $7000 for Manna
Attendees enjoyed autumn weather in Montgomery County with tastings, craft beer, live music for a good cause
On Saturday, Oct. 24, nearly 700 people came out to experience A Taste of Downtown Crown at the second annual Sip Nosh Mingle event.
Restaurants from Downtown Crown offered bites of some of their signature dishes while Diamond Alley and the Rew Smith Duo provided music at two different locations. Food options including chicken pesto pasta from la Madeleine, bison burger sliders from Ted’s Montana Grill and falafel from the new Mezeh Mediterranean Grill. Old Town Pour House hosted a beer garden and the folks over at Downtown Crown Wine and Beer had the Winery at Olney out for a festive tasting.
In addition to tasting tickets, attendees were also able to purchase raffle tickets to win gift cards, services from local merchants and even a ping pong table.

All the proceeds went straight to the charity partner – Manna Food Center – who was able to walk off with $7000 to help in their fight to end hunger in Montgomery County.
