Woman Sexually Assaulted In Gaithersburg: Police
Montgomery County police are investigating after a woman was reportedly sexually assaulted in Gaithersburg Monday morning.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County police are searching for an attacker they say sexually assaulted a woman Monday morning in Gaithersburg.
The incident reportedly occurred in the area of Mountain Laurel Lane and Flower Hill Way between 6 and 7 a.m. Authorities say a woman was walking on a footpath when she was approached from behind and touched inappropriately by a suspect.
The victim described the suspect as a 5-foot-7, 175-pound black man with a medium build, according to officials.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have information on the suspect, or observed anything suspicious in the area call detectives at 240-773-5050.
