2 Adults Found Dead Inside MoCo Home Filled With Carbon Monoxide: Police
Two adults were found dead over the weekend after first responders were dispatched to a Clarksburg home for carbon monoxide exposure.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Two adults were found dead inside a Clarksburg home over the weekend.
Authorities said that first responders were called to the 12700 block of Fernberry Road on Saturday for a carbon monoxide call.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer said the two deceased adults were initially found by relatives who were carrying out a welfare check at the residence.

At the scene, officials also detected "very high levels" of carbon monoxide in the home. Firefighters had found a car running in the garage.
Piringer said both adults "likely" died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Officials have not identified either of the two adults pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Hazardous teams assisted in ventilating the home.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
