UPDATED: Bank of America Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Montgomery County Police cleared the scene

(Updated 6 p.m.) — Montgomery County Police have cleared the scene, following a bomb threat at the Bank of America on Germantown Road early Wednesday evening.
No explosives were found; police cleared the scene at around 5:15 p.m., Officer Janelle Smith said.
(ORIGINAL) Bank of America has been evacuated following an apparent bomb threat, a Montgomery County Police spokesperson said.

Police, who are still at the scene, were dispatched to the branch at 19707 Germantown Rd., at around 3:40 p.m.
Police said the threat came in over the phone. Police were unable to confirm whether a bomb was present Officer Janelle Smith said.

Smith said that people at businesses around the bank have not been instructed to leave.
