Woman Found Dead During Welfare Check: Police
A death investigation is underway in Burtonsville after a woman was found dead during a welfare check over the weekend.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Authorities are carrying out a death investigation after a woman was found dead during a welfare check in Burtonsville over the weekend.
Montgomery County Police said the woman was found after officers were dispatched Saturday to the 3900 block of Blackburn Lane, shortly before 6:30 p.m.
Police did not detail who requested the welfare check or what may have prompted the request.
