Crime Summary: Arrests Made, Robbery Suspects Sought

Arrests made

A 37-year-old Germantown man was arrested following reports of an armed robbery on Scarlet Leaf Circle at around 3 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17.

A 41-year-old man from Germantown was arrested following reports of an attempted residential burglary in the 13100 block of Twilight Court at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17.

Robberies reported

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 9500 block of Queens Cross Lane in Germantown, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Police described the suspect as an 18- to 20-year-old black male between 6” and 6’2” tall with a thin build and wearing a gray hoodie.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Police said suspect obtained the alleged victim’s property by force and left the scene.

Police believe two males assaulted and robbed a person in the 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20. The strong-arm robbery suspects were described as 18- to 20-year-old males: one suspect was between 6’2” and 6’3”, at 190 pounds; the other suspect was 5’8”, at 160 pounds.

Burglaries

A residential burglary was reported in the 18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive in Germantown on Monday, Feb. 13, between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 11300 block of Halethorpe Terrace in Germantown at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14.

A residential burglary was reported in the 11800 block of Piedmont Road in Clarksburg on Saturday, Feb. 18, between 10 a.m. and 6:33 p.m.
