Crime Summary: Car Break-ins, Burglary and Assault Arrests
The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department for the fifth district. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 53-year-old Boyds man was arrested following reports of an alleged assault in the 19700 block of Dark Star Way, Boyds, at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 25. Police said the suspect knew the alleged victim.
A 22-year-old Barnseville man was arrested following reports of an alleged residential burglary in the 20000 block of Haller Avenue, Poolesville, on Saturday Sept. 29 between 3:20 and 3:45 a.m. Police said there were no signs of forced entry and nothing was reported missing.
Six thefts from vehicles were reported at the following Germantown streets between 9:55 a.m. on Tuesday Sept. 25 and 6:25 a.m. on Thursday Sept. 27; police said cars were broken into in three of the alleged thefts; GPS units were reported missing:

A commercial burglary was reported at the Sunoco located at 19235 Frederick Road in Germantown on Wednesday Sept. 26, at around 1:30 a.m. Police said there were signs of forced entry but nothing was reported missing.
A commercial burglary was reported at the Rolling Hills apartment gate house at 19228 Circle Gate Drive in Germantown on Wednesday Sept. 26, at around 8:30 a.m. Police said there were signs of forced entry.

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Doxdam Court in Germantown on Thursday Sept. 27 around 3 a.m.
A residential burglary was reported in the 11400 block of Brundidge Terrace in Germantown on Friday Sept. 28, between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary was reported in the 24400 block of Hipsley Mill Road in Gaithersburg on Wednesday Sept. 26, between 11 a.m. and noon. Forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary was reported in the 10900 block of Middleboro Drive in Damascus on Saturday Sept. 29, around 2 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary was reported in the 23100 block of Arora Hills Drive in Clarksburg on Thursday Sept. 27, between noon and 1:25 p.m. Unknown entry; nothing taken.
