Family Displaced After Fire At Mobile Home Park
A family was displaced after an electrical failure resulted in a power line fire at the Middlebrook Gardens Mobile Home Park.
GERMANTOWN, MD — Reports of burning wires led to one Germantown family being displaced early Monday as the region was being pummeled by heavy snow.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service reported the incident unfolded at the Middlebrook Gardens Mobile Home Park in Germantown.

First responders arrived at the 19500 block of Frederick Road at about 3 a.m. as emergency road crews were working to clear snow-packed streets.

MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said that a power line fire had spread into the walls of a nearby home, forcing one family to be displaced.
Officials ruled the fire accidental, noting damages ranged in the ballpark of about $10,000.
