Missing Germantown Man's Car Found In Delaware: Police

Osogho I. Odu, of Germantown, last reached out to family members by phone on Jan. 24. His abandoned car was found in Delaware on Jan. 25.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Osogho I. Odu, 66, of the 18200 block of Swiss Circle, was found dead by search teams in Delaware Saturday, according to police.


(Original post) GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing Germantown man whose car was found in Delaware.

Osogho I. Odu, 66, of the 18200 block of Swiss Circle, last reached out to family members by phone at about 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, according to police. They believe that Odu may have been driving his gray 2017 Hyundai Tucson at the time.

The following day, law enforcement officials in Delaware City found Odu's abandoned car near the Reedy Point Bridge of the Fort DuPont State Park. To date, police said they have been unable to locate him.

Investigators describe Odu as a 5-foot-7, 170-pound African American male with brown eyes and black hair.

Family and law enforcement officials are concerned for Odu's wellbeing.
