Moped Strikes Bus In Germantown, 1 Hospitalized: MCFRS
One person riding a moped was injured after crashing into a bus Thursday morning in Germantown.
GERMANTOWN, MD — A person riding a moped has been hospitalized after crashing into a bus Thursday morning in Germantown. The motorist does not appear to have life-threatening injuries, according to a Montgomery County official.
It happened in the 20900 block of Frederick Ave., near the Kohl's department store. The moped may have hit a "slick spot" on the road and slid into the bus, county fire department spokesman Pete Piringer said.
